Plaça Reial
This is one of the most famous squares in Barcelona, where you can find many bars, restaurants, pubs and discos. Known in Catalan as Plaça Reial, this 19th century plaza is quite large and was once an ancient convent to Capuchin Monks. Today, the cloistered look is still well preserved and the square is adorned with palm trees and street lamps designed by Antoni Gaudi.
