Anella Olimpica
The Olympic Ring on Montjuïc was the nerve centre of the 1992 Games and the most important of the city's four Olympic sites. The Ring showcases the refurbished Stadium, which hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games and the athletics competitions. It's located on an esplanade alongside the Olympic Stadium (Estadi Olímpic), near a series of sports facilities designed by Federico Correa, Joan Margarit, Alfonso Milà and Carles Buixade. The Olympic Stadium now houses the Galeria Olímpica, a permanent exhibition and information centre about Barcelona's Olympics and its sports facilities.
